The
man faces the line of dance with the woman directly in front and
facing him in a basic Texas Two Step position. Two forward quick,
quick steps are taken. The man's left hand guides the woman's
right hand through a woman's clockwise
turn. The man slows his movement to
allow the woman to turn. The pair ends back in the original position
with the man facing the line of dance. Here the turn is demonstrated
on the slow slow Suggestion:
The man can signal the woman that a
turn is coming by pushing the woman's left hand back ( his forward
) on the first slow and then backwards on the second slow in preparation
for the turn. Similarly, at the same time the man can use his
right hand on the woman's left back by twisting the woman forward
on the first slow and then back on the second slow. In other words,
both hands are used to lead the woman.
